Welcome back to The Great Substack Prompt Celebration! Heather Huffman, Nicole Rivera and the Fictionistas crew are back for writing inspiration through a writing prompt, community connection through a live Zoom call and thread, and an opportunity to get your fiction Substack pages read by even more readers!
Each month we
share a writing prompt,
have a live Zoom call where we write together (we call this our Writing Prompt Party!), and then
we wrap up the month by asking all participants to share their stories for everyone to read.
This month we will be following the same model as last month where we will be encouraging everyone to read and share the stories shared at the end of the month.
Let’s Talk About Juggling Writing With Other Stuff
While many states in the US ended school last month, here in the Northeast we are still going and June is a bit of a scheduling nightmare. Between school trips, carnivals, art shows, days off, or remote and my husband’s (he’s a teacher) weird testing schedule, nothing is fitting my regular routine and the writing rhythm is OFF. So here’s my question:
How do you juggling your writing time with your other stuff, especially when the other stuff doesn’t stick to a regular schedule?
I am basically chanting the countdown to July when I will be back in control of all of the things, but for now, feeling a bit like a chicken with her head chopped off.
