My absolute favorite thing to do in community is to host — and participate in — Writing Prompt Parties. What are they? Group sessions that begin with light chat, then a writing prompt is shared and a timer is set. Everyone in the group write their own super short story to the prompt and, after the timer goes off, we read our first draft fiction aloud to the group!
This is an extreme writing workout that I like to call “writing fitness with friends”and you are invited!
Time & Place
We will have our first June Writing Prompt Party today at 5pm Eastern.

What to Bring
For this event you will need something to write with (I prefer a notebook and pen, but many participants use their laptops, tablets, or even their phones to write their stories on the go), and an open mind (you can tell your inner editor that they have the night off!).
Hope to see you there!

Really enjoyable - thank you
Nicole, is it possible to get a notification for a prompt party or other writing exercise a few days before it is going to be available?
I always see them too late.
Please, PLEASE!!!
