Just a reminder to anyone interested in starting the conversation (and the work) around creating a critique group here in Stop Writing Alone, I am looking for my Critique Crew. I am hosting two Introduction Chats on Zoom today at 12pm Eastern and at 7pm Eastern.
Today’s Discussion
Today’s disccusion will center around the mission of this group, the plans I have in place thus far, and a check-in on where everyone stands. Some topics I am hoping to cover are:
previous experience with writing workshop and critique of your writing
successful critique models you have worked with before
critique models that didn’t serve you, your writing, or fellow writers in the experience
your concerns about engaging in critique
recommended reading, viewing, listening concerning the critique process
what your current hopes are for critique
any questions from attendees
