There are two community events happening this week. In case you haven’t looked at the July 2022 Calendar of Events post in a while, I wanted to send you a reminder today.
Let’s Write Together!
First up there is a community-wide Zoom Write-In this Tuesday
In our write-ins we have some light chat, then set a timer for writing sprints. It is recommended that you come ready to write the work in progress of your choosing. However, if you are feeling uninspired by any of your projects and you still want to write with the community, I always have some writing prompt tool around that I could offer you to get started! All you really need to join us, is this link:
Tuesday, July 19th 5:30pm Eastern Time: Write-In [LIVE ZOOM]

Let’s Learn Together!
The other event coming up this week is the Zoom discussion for Story Club on Wednesday evening. (What is Story Club?)
We will be discussing Chapter 1: Drop the hammer, of 27 Essential Principles of Story by Daniel Joshua Rubin, Hamlet by William Shakespeare, and, the group feels so inclined, the writing exercise I developed to complement this lesson.
Wednesday, July 20th 5pm Eastern Time: Story Club Hamlet and “Drop the Hammer” Lesson chat from 27 Essential Principles of Story
This is an event for the VIPs (very invested paid subsribers) of Stop Writing Alone, but you can join right now for only $5/month or $50 for the year to get access to this event and more exclusive events and posts like it throughout the month!
Can’t wait to see you all this week for some productivity and great discussion!
Nicole :)
