Welcome to February, writers. Below you will find classic good writing times like:

• write-ins

• writing prompt parties (oh yes, that’s plural), and

• writing practice

But it is also time for us to finally start our two new book clubs:

• OUR WORKSHOP/PLAY IN THE SANDBOX BOOK CLUB: The Practicing Poets Club where we are going through The Practicing Poet one craft tip at a time (all writers welcome, poets and beyond! We are looking to play with words!), and

  • This month we will be working on Craft Tip #1

• OUR CLASSIC DISCUSSION BOOK CLUB: The next wave of Story Club where we will discuss Save the Cat Writes a Novel and many of the novels Jessica Brody studied, one month at a time.

  • This month we will be discussing Chapters 1-3

What Are The “Open to All Writers” Events This Month?

This month there’s one meeting open to all writers:

Social Saturday is a two hour mix of chat and writing sprints open to all writers interested in a social spice up to a little bit of their work week.
