August is here!
It’s time for a brand new calendar of events for Writing Events like Write-ins, Writing Practice, Story Club, Writing Prompt Parties and more! But I am here to tell you this calendar will be a little late this month. I’m slightly distracted in a moment of celebration…
I am away celebrating my fifteenth wedding anniversary with my husband, so the calendar will be up at the beginning of next week, jammed with a month of writerly things to do riding on the inspiration I’m gathering in my first time visit to the literary town, New Orleans, Louisiana!

if you're still in NOLA, visit Hotel Ponchetrain (sp?) - on St Charles Ave trolley line. Hotel dates from 1927 and has a great lobby-level diner "Silver Whistle", and a Hot Tin roof-top bar. Very nice vibe.
