For those of you craving a deeoer dive into craft chats and writing exercises, make sure you don’t miss out on our OPEN TO ALL WRITERS meeting about the two new book clubs I’ll be hosting starting this year:

• a brand new round of STORY CLUB, featuring Jessica Brody’s Save the Cat Writes a Novel as our lead text, and

• an altogether brand new experience of working through Diane Lockward’s The Practicing Poet.

What Are The “Open to All Writers” Events This Month?

This month there’s one meeting open to all writers:

• Social Saturday! Connect to community while making progress on your passion project this month during this two hour event where we chat and then set a timer for a writing sprint!

• Intro Chat About our new round of STORY CLUB and our new addition of THE PRACTICING POETS CLUB One of the goals of Stop Writing Alone was to bring writers together to not only get our writing work done and to have fun with fiction, but to also learn about our craft together. Come to this one hour chat to see the focus of two brand new craft chats that will be going on this year, each with its own guiding text and supplemental reading, offering countless opportunities to learn from the novels and poems that are already inspiring readers
