Welcome to March!
Story Club is back this month where we will be finishing up Save the Cat Writes a Novel by Jessica Brody and announcing our next Story Club project for 2026 and beyond! Also this month, I’ll be presenting a free poetry workshop as part of the Creating Space series. Beyond those two new things, a bunch of your old favorites are here for you:
8 hours of FREE Write-ins
16 hours of Write-in Wednesdays + 3 hours of Friday afternoon Write-ins
Our open-to-everyone Writing Prompt Party
Meditation and Writing in our Writing Practice, and
The Practicing Poets club
If you are a paid subscriber and have access to the Stop Writing Alone Google Calendar (paid subscribers can Direct Message me with the email address they want to connect to the calendar), here’s what the Schedule looks like on Google calendar:

What Are The “Open to All Writers” Events This Month?
This month there are THREE MEETINGS open to all writers:
The 2Hour Type & Talk Write-in at 10:00am (Eastern time) on
Tuesday, Mar, 3rd
Tuesday, Mar 10th
Tuesday, Mar 17th
Tuesday, Mar 24th
The March Writing Prompt Party being held on Thursday, March 12th at 6pm Eastern
These are great meetings to join to get a taste of what its like to be a part of an online writing community. One is designed to inspire you to create something new in a fun, judgement-free space (WRITING PROMPT PARTY!), and the other gives you a chance to commiserate with other writers while also devoting some time to your current work in progress (TYPE & TALK TUESDAYS!)!
I’m hoping once you join us and see how valuable these experiences are for yourself, you will understand why joining the paid subscription is worth your while.
If you are not yet a paid subscriber, the investment is either $15/month, or $150/year (that gives you two months for free!). Here are some of the reasons why I think you should make this investment today:
