While I am happy to say this message carries no meeting interruptions right now, I did want to give an update on my medical mystery tour in case this journey decides to bleed over into next week’s Stop Writing Alone plans.
(photo of my view here in the ER. My husband has informed that is a handrail, not a forgotten baguette 🥖)
I am in the ER again. Third day in a row. That’s right, all of you who I wrote with yesterday, by nightfall I was back here due to a flare up that began in last write-in and didn’t stop. It was rough. And even though they pumped me full of drugs, as I slept last night, the hives kept coming. My face is a hilariously hideous sight right now. Today I can’t stop laughing at my selfies, someday I know I will look back on them with extreme pity.
So it’s IV time and test time and today they say they won’t let me go until they see the hives go. We shall see. Just wanted to do a quick post before the big guns (medicinally speaking) come into the IV bag and I sleep the day away.
I did pack my brand new diary, so I hope to get some writing in and, with this phone, I might even be able to get my most recent Writing Prompt story polished. Wish me luck on all the fronts, I am a big believer in the sending of the vibes and I have receiver tuned up.
Talk to you all soon. Happy writing! 🤗
Gosh, hope all is well. Does look like a lost baguette 🥖
Sending hugs. Hope they get to the bottom of it quickly.
