Vacation Mode

Hello writer friends,

I am writing to you from my phone, on the second to last day of our Orlando, Fl getaway that has included

-road tripping with a bearded dragon for the first time

-trip to Urgi Care for my child

-an ear infection for said child

-multiple trips to the pharmacy for all of the ear infection accoutrements

-actual vacationing things like lazy rivers, super pool slides, funny names drinks, sun, ridiculous rain storms, eating out, ordering in and (a weird tradition my husband started years ago) a hotel room DVR filled with episodes of the show Catfish

Normally, I am able to weave in my podcast and YouTubing within vacation, but, honestly, the extra #momlife and #motherofdragon responsibilities have emptied my cup every night.

We will be heading to a vacation-lite locale soon (staying with family rather than trying desperately to “do all the things” in resort life each moment the little man feels okay), and will be able to reconstruct my on the road recording space and get back to work!
