Stop Writing Alone Podcast Episode #187

Open in playerListen on);
Stop Writing Alone is a weekly show for writers looking for a writing community. In each episode listeners will learn where and how they can find, or create, their own writing community while joining one such community with Stop Writing Alone. The show will provide inspiration, writing activities, critique, and lessons from “distant teachers” in the writing world via their writings, online presence, and interviews. The show is written and hosted by Nicole Rivera, co-organizer of a local writing group, writer, and Pitch Wars 2016 mentee.

Episode Description

After watching an episode of Down to Earth with Zac Efron on Netflix, I learned that one solution for the jet lag feeling after travel is a practice called “Grounding.” It requires putting your bare feet on the soil of the new space you are inhabiting. In this episode I explore my own version of grounding as I struggle with what I have come to call my post pandemic jet lag. I think I have found my equivalent of barefoot walking through this new world and encourage you to find your own.
