I'm so sorry you are going through this. As a fellow chronic pain survivor, I get it. Celebrate the good days and give yourself grace on the bad ones.

Best of luck. I struggle a lot with my own illnesses and can relate to not having a perfect writer's life, although my illnesses are of the psychological kind. Hoping you get the answers you seek.

It's ok to take a minute/ month for yourself to recharge and get well again. Remember you do matter to everyone around you even your virtual friends. I just hope for a good outcome in all this.

This resonated. I have some chronic illnesses and unexplained biological phenomena happening as well… it’s a rough road and I’m kicking rocks most of the time. ♥️

I’m sorry you were in the hospital, but I’m glad you’re going to have tests done. Because I have a mental health disability and don’t feel physical pain, I sometimes feel like I’m an imposter being on SSDI. I hope you find some answers.

I know this is from the 4th but I just wanted to sit in silent solidarity with you. I see you, I feel it in my bones with you.

May the docs be better at finding answers faster this time although so often it ends up being a process of elimination (which gets rid of the big scaries first, usually). I understand the hospital fear. As for the calendar… eh, spring a surprise party on us, or have a leap month and start over in April!

I hope your answers come soon and you get relief! Your post reminded me more broadly that we can still be writers even when life's obligations, responsibilities and challenges seem to wash over, run over, and overwhelm us.
