I think it is really important to stop and give yourself recognition, even if it is just a little thing because sometimes when we keep on hustling to the next thing and the next thing, we can forget how much we have been accomplishing and that can lead to burnout. It kind of connects with the reverse bucket list idea, which asks us to remember all the things we once accomplished and celebrated, so many of those things become ordinary to us that we can forget what a big deal they were. In this case, I am trying to remember as an adult we have to celebrate moving forward too! It's another one of those lessons that became clearer for me when I became a parent. I knew how important it was to celenrate my son's wins as he was growing and learning new things, but then I wasn't doing the same for myself!
