Welcome back to your weekly writing prompt inspiration.
Looking for Just the Prompt?
There’s nothing much to see because this week’s prompt was not a visual inspiration, it was a felt thing. There was an earthquake in my home this morning and, as inspiration I decided this week’s prompt would be as simple as this:
Write a story that contains a natural phenomenon as part of its focus. For example:
an earthquake
tornado
tsunami
volcano eruption
landslide
flood
huuricane/cyclone/typhoon
blizzard
eclipse (I forgot to mention that one in the video!)
or some other phenomenon I forgot to mention.
Remember, if this prompt doesn’t inspire you this week, then search around on the playlist 52 Stories in 52 Weeks - Prompts.
Or, if you find yourself inspired by photos, hopefully you caught this week’s IG PhotoPrompt

About This Week’s Prompt
Do you enjoy using nature as inspiration for your plots, or do you prefer to use it only as part of your world building and setting?
