Thanks ladies, last night I was thinking that I do need to add a new section of the Substack called Writing Life, because these are fun!
i squeaked past 50,000 last night. i surprised myself by feeling a little sad to be "done" with this story for a while. i need a break but i also loved spending so many days with these characters.
Oh I know that feeling! Congratulations! The two ladies above also were early finishers on the 29th! It seemed that was the big day for so many!
How long of a break are you planning to take?
I think i’ll take a month before I look at this work again, going to work on some shorts for now
