Are you a discovery writer struggling to find structure without taking the wind out of your discovery-writing sails? I think I found some North Stars we can follow on our journey that can save us from getting lost at sea while still allowing us to enjoy the journey. Based on my reading of Daniel Josua Rubin’s 27 Essential Principles of Story, and my listening to the Writing Excuses podcast, I have found story guiding principles that will help me lean my story ship into the winds of structure.
